So what if the English Channel is full of shit and Everest is littered with bodies? Sometimes you’ve just got to do stuff because it’s there. With an eager audience set to include flatworm, floating cows and liver flukes, Rajko Radovic is preparing to stand-up paddleboard the length of Lake Titicaca.
Taking him from Peru to Bolivia at an altitude of 12,500ft the plan clearly has a couple of drawbacks – so far his preparation consists of recovering from dengue fever and having never paddleboarded before. But if Martin Strell can survive swimming down the Amazon whilst pissed and mad, then a guy with a resting pulse of 34 and a body he borrowed from Laird Hamilton really should be able to paddle across a lake.
